Sue Mosher

Sue Mosher is the acclaimed author of books and articles on Microsoft Outlook and Exchange and founder of the award-winning Slipstick Systems Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center web site (http://www.slipstick.com). Her company, Turtleflock, LLC, is dedicated to helping individuals and organizations get the most out of their desktop programs.

Much of Sue's work has involved researching Outlook and Exchange issues and presenting them in books and articles, on her web sites (including http://www.outlookcode.com for Outlook developers), and in private seminars and projects for clients. She has also developed custom solutions with Outlook and other Microsoft Office programs.

The desire to share what she learns led Sue to become a very active participant in Internet newsgroups and mailing lists. In 1994, Microsoft named her as one of the first participants in its MVP - Most Valuable Professional - program recognizing outstanding contributions to the community of Microsoft product users. She has received the MVP award every year since then.

Sue grew up in Atlanta and attended the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA, where she managed the college radio station, helped revive the women's fencing team, graduated with a B.A. degree in sociology, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Her desire to keep learning extends beyond computer technology; she has also studied economics, Russian, and woody plants for the landscape.

She has been working with computers for more than 20 years, first as a broadcast journalist and technology manager for The Associated Press. She left the AP in 1994 to found Slipstick Systems and later Turtleflock, LLC. Her clients have included the AP, ABC News, American Military University, Gerawan Farms, Microsoft, Turner Broadcasting, and the U.S. Embassy in Moscow.

She is married to military philosopher Robert Mosher. They have lived with their daughter, Annie, in Kinshasa, Congo, and in Moscow, and currently reside in Arlington, VA.
