Jon Box and Dan Fox are on the show this week talking about smart devices, the Compact Framework, and their book, "Building Solutions with the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework"

Jon Box
Jon Box works for Quilogy and is a Microsoft Regional Director for Memphis. Jon does presentations on a variety of .NET topics across the U.S. He has presented at TechEd, DevDays, MEC, Win-DEV, and at various .NET user groups as a member of the INETA Speakers Bureau.
Not only has Jon developed training content for Quilogy's Atomic group and TechEd, he also co-founded the Memphis .NET User Group. Jon serves as the Mobility Editor for the .NET Developer's Journal and in 2003 released his first book, titled "Building Solutions with the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework", with Dan Fox of Quilogy's Atomic group. Jon was named a Microsoft MVP in 2004.
Dan Fox
Dan Fox is the co-author of Building Solutions with the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework (Addison-Wesley), MCSD Exam Cram Visual Basic 6 Distributed,from Coriolis and author of Pure Visual Basic, Building Distributed Applications with Visual Basic .NET, and Teach Yourself ADO.NET in 21 Days from Sams. Since 1998 he has authored more than two dozen articles for Visual Basic Programmer's Journal, Visual Studio Magazine, .NET Magazine, SQL Server Magazine, Advisor Journals, MSDN Magazine, and InformIT.com. He is also a member of the Microsoft author community.
Dan has spoken at numerous events including Visual Studio .NET launches (2002), Developer Days (1997-2001), .NET Architect Summit 2001, and TechEd (2001, 2001 Europe, 2002). His focus has been on development on the Microsoft platform specializing in web development and data access technologies. He has served as a trainer, consultant, and managing consultant with Quilogy since 1995 in its Kansas City office and is now a Technical Director.
