Michael Heydt Develops with TPL Dataflows

Moving beyond the basics of the TPL, Michael digs into how the various pattern blocks of TDF help you build real-world parallel executing applications. Michael Heydt is Principal Technologist with SunGard Global Services (the worlds largest private software company), in their Advanced Technology Services Consulting practice, and has over 30 years of professional software development experience including being a Windows developer since its first beta versions. As a member of SGS ATS he works with numerous Microsoft .NET and open source based technologies to create next generation commodity trading systems for SGS customers, and leads applied R&D in rich and natural user interfaces using Kinect and OpenNI, continuous clients, high performance desktops, massively parallel systems, cloud computing, cloud/on-premises integration, and dabbles in mobile applications and big data solutions. He is a frequent speaker at international conferences where he has presented on various topics on Windows Azure, Azure Service Bus, database sharding using SQL Azure, and programming natural user interfaces using the Microsoft Kinect. He is based in NYC, lives in Missoula MT, and works globally.
